July 18, 2016 (Bedford, VA) – The Intertek Group completed the pre-certification factory inspection at the LiteSheet Solutions (‘LiteSheet’) Corporate headquarters, finding no discrepancies in the quality procedures and policies required by the nationally recognized testing laboratory. The approval enables LiteSheet to manufacture products that meet UL testing criteria and label them with an ETL certified mark. Prior to the inspection, LiteSheet had been utilizing an Intertek approved contract manufacturer to produce select lines of its LED fixture portfolio.
“We’re extremely pleased to expand the production of our AC Direct Lighting fixtures in our Bedford facility,” said Roger Whyte, LiteSheet CEO. “We will be able to maintain our high production quality and continue to be competitive in the commercial lighting industry.”
The ETL certification will initially cover eight product families representing over 30 commercial and industrial light fixtures. All of the approved fixtures use the patented BriteCor AC direct LED engine. The result is a product line with higher efficiency, longer life and less waste throughout the entire life cycle.
These ETL listings against UL and Canadian standards for LiteSheet follow a significant investment from The Center for Innovative Technology that was confirmed in May 2016 and the near close to a very successful series A round of funding. The portfolio comes complete with 140 lumens/watt measured output, 450,00 hours MTBF of continuous operation and the industry’s longest available warranty for up to 15 years. All LiteSheet products are fully patented and proudly manufactured in the USA.
