Bedford, VA, February 2, 2016: LiteSheet Solutions LLC announces the MET Labs approval of its E2 Brik product line. The approval means that the E2 Briks are certified to the Underwriters Laboratories (UL) standards for installation in damp locations.
Featuring the LiteSheet patented BriteCor AC Direct LED technology, that requires NO POWER SUPPLY to drive the LEDs the standard Brik product line is a market leader – using less power and requiring no maintenance over its 15 year lifetime. “The E2 Brik is a perfect example of LiteSheet developing products that exceed our customers expectations. A large university in Ohio asked if we would provide a fixture that would work in their parking garages under harsh environmental conditions,” says Roger Whyte, LiteSheet CEO. “We redesigned the enclosure for damp locations and added the ability to mount directly to a common j-box, greatly reducing the installation time. For this installation LiteSheet’s E2 product reduced power consumption 75% while increasing delivered lumens in the garage by 2X.”
The E2 Brik Series is offered in 24” and 48” lengths with a wide variety of color temperature options. The light fixtures are designed to be mounted directly to an electrical j-box, or with a AC plug cord set making this an easy option for parking garage retrofit applications. The BriteCor™ AC Direct drive technology produces over 125 lumens per Watt with a MTBF rating over 450,000 hours – a significant improvement over current DC power supply driven LED light that requires maintenance and power supply replacement.
